The manhunt begins...

Today, I decided I should probably be more proactive about finding super hot and sexy boyfrans for myself and for F.

We keep complaining about being fabulously single and yet we do nothing about it.

Of course, our non-single style friends were there to support us...

Headless V. donning a fab Ivy League alumni-ish type look.

And the sweetest S. all pretty in pink.

Fabulous F. in all her sexy single glory.

Et moi, in true hunting fashion, I decided to dress up all nativelike.

Feather earrings. A hunter never leaves home without them.

I was hoping my ethinic-ish wardrobe would summon the spirits of my hunter ancestors, to help me on my hunt for my wild and sexy beast of a man.

So off we went hunting. F. took photos, documenting our hunting trip.

I tried to stay as inconspicuous as possible so as not to scare my prey...

I waited and waited for what seemed like forever, when suddenly, there appeared a wild and sexy man.

I got ready to pounce and as soon as he was within reach...

...I grabbed him.

...But then... The most inopportune thing happened...

He got scared and he ran away...

...I tried to run after him, saying, "Papi, wait, let me explain. Waiiiittt..."

I tried to get in this thing so I could catch up to him faster... But to no avail...

I was devastated.

So close... I was so close...

Oh well... There are plenty of sexy beasts out there.

Tonight, we rest. Tomorrow, we hunt again. Wish us well.

Windy Cindy

Hey hey!

So today was pretty windy.

So windy that we almost got carried away.

The Sweetest S.

Fantastic F.

Vivacious V.

Et c'est moi!

Anyhoo, remember my "skirt for days and days"?

Well, I actually have two of those. Nabbed them on sale at Splash. Oddly enough, the size of this skirt according to Splash is 14... We all know I'm not a 14, so I wonder how this would actually fit a person that size. :-/ Splash people, you gots some 'splainin to do.

Thank goodness for "skirt for days and days and weeks and months". With this type of wind, it could have been panty and vagina for days and days of embarrassment.

Funny thing about the wind though...

Whenever we tried to take a photo, it just died down. It took a couple of tries before we got the picture above.

Here's F. trying to remedy the problem.

(*Looking at photo with squinted eyes: Not sure if trying to blow skirt or blow kisses to ass.)

The vivacious V looking as lovely as evarrr. I need a sweater like that in my life.

Pretty S in fabulous monochromatic hues.

Fabulous F practicing her skills as a matador. I, of course, was the bull in this scenario.

Oh and we also figured out that "skirt for days and days" can also be used as BFF skirts. Gone are the days of wearing matching clothes to show that you're BFFs. Nowadays, you can proclaim to the world that you're best friends forever by wearing one ginormous skirt.

S and I decided it would be best to demonstrate this by having a pose-off.

And as you can see... There really is no question...

...I am clearly the better model.

Kissy kissy!

So this is embarassing...

...I know, I know. It's been ages, since I last updated this blog.

Nothing much has changed though, except that...

...S got her hair did like a BAMF.

F also got her hair did like a trophy wife of a Hollywood producer.

V didn't want to show her face, because she's all famous like that wearing...

...stunning bejeweled belts like this.

F & V's shoes are teh sexxx.

My boots border on chic and gnome-like.

Mamu gave me this bib necklace when he came over for New Year's! Don't you just love it?

I know this bag is sooo last season.

...But it was on sale, and you know I can't resist a sale.

And besides, using last season stuff is what Highly Crass dreams are made of.

I ran away from home...

...is the reason why I haven't updated this thing 'til now.

There was no reason behind the reason. It just seemed like a good idea.

Day 1 of the Running-Away Extravaganza:

As you can see, I'm still somewhat happy about the whole thing despite having to carry that huge running-away bag.

Day 2:
I wasn't able to get enough sleep on account of being homeless. Thankfully, the style friends were there to cheer me up.

Check out, F's sexy shoes! ...And face! So sexy!

V. and some guy on the phone.

Day 3:

I was starting to get used to being homeless and living out of a huge running-away denim bag.

I mean, sure, there was a bathroom issue.
But I think I managed well enough...

Of course, the style friends were there in denimly support.

F. in her ruffle collar denim dress.

And F. in her farmer jeans and vertigo-inducing heels.

Day 4/5:

We even went ice skating on the weekend so that I could have a place to stay...
...We ended up just holding to the railing for dear life but... It was still pretty fun.

Day 6:

By the fifth day, I was starting to feel pretty okay about the whole Running-Away Extravaganza.

I mean, I was starting to go all crazy laughing all by myself...

But you gotta admit, I make running away look pretty good.

Day 7:

After a week, I had gone off the the deep end.

I started to think that I was a prima ballerina...

...starring in Swine/Duck Lake.

Despite the insanity though, I'm still the best at pose-offs. I mean seriously, look at me and V. side by side... Clearly, my pose is much more fashion-y and sexy. Seriously.

But alas, the style friends thought that it might be a good idea for me to go home. At least for the Eid vacation. So I packed up everything and went home.

Thus endeth the Running-Away extravaganza.

On other news, did you know that aside from being highly crass, I'm also highly crafty?

Actually, that's a lie. I'm not HIGHLY crafty. I just like crafting. Very very much!

So after I cleaned up my room, I did these:

I painted a decade-old skirt! (Golly, I'm old.)
Mamu stuck some awesome embellishments to this skirt, but over time, they had fallen off one by one. It left ugly glue marks, which made the skirt unusable. So I decided to paint it with roses. :) I still haven't decided if I should add leaves and other stuff or just leave it like this.

I upcycled this kitsch basket bag.
I removed all the sequins.

And stuck felt flowers and leaves to it.

Now it's a basket of flowers. :)

I got bored with my old chucks.
So I decided to paint it with pretty colors. I still haven't finished it, but maybe today. :)

Oh and this made me LOL!
I've heard of P*ta Red and Prostitute Pink, but Hooker's Green is a first. LOLOLOL.

Hope your Eid holidays are as awesome as mine is turning out to be!
